Disclaimer: I realize I’ve spoiled you with two posts in a row in the past two days. Please don’t get used to this behavior. I’m sitting at LAX and killing some time at the moment…so you get another post! *jazz hands*
I’ve developed an overview of my past month in cartographical form. Perhaps it will give you some idea of why the adventure is continuing instead of beginning. Voila! Allison’s life in a map:
It’s been a bit of a busy month, to say the least. I’ve been traveling to visit family (because I’ll miss them!) and New Orleans (because, why not?) before I head to Kona and DTS and only God knows what else. It’s been a whirlwind! I’ve started a collection of “photos from windows” (maybe I’ll start a gallery someday); sometimes you don’t have a chance to “stop and smell the roses,” so to speak, but at least you can grab a moment as it zooms by.
Genesis 1:31 (NKJV)
31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.
Can I get an amen? I was flying to LA from San Francisco today, looking out the window at the amazing mountains below and a song that I heard for the first time when I visited YWAM Kona last summer kept playing through my head.
I will build my life upon your love, it is a firm foundation.
I will put my trust in you alone and I will not be shaken.
His love founded the earth. Founded all this beauty, and it remains. It IS a firm foundation. And thank goodness for that. Nothing else is firm at the moment. For goodness’ sake, I haven’t even known where to say I’m from this month! I’ve lived on Oahu for the past three years, and am returning to Hawaii to live in Kona. But all my stuff and my permanent address is at home in Reno, though I only spent about a week there during all my travels this month…sigh. With everything up in the air it’s good to know there’s always a firm foundation in God’s love.
Bless you heart Allison.

God bless you, and have a blast.

You remind me that the earth is called terra firma. God certainly thought everything through in preparing this home for man. It’s temporary but exquisite.

I love the aerial photos! When I’m in the air, it reminds me of my true residence…seated in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus. What a vantage point in looking at the problems in this world; suddenly they seem so minuscule from God’s perspective.
Life’s a fun adventure with our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. ❤️💕❤️
Enjoy the ride!
